Hi - I recently installed Airfoil so I could stream internet music to speakers in another room. I had already been doing this with iTunes. The set-up was simple and it worked immediately. My only issue is that the sound, although not terrible, is not as good as using ITunes (volume not as high - of course I can turn it up more - but also not as deep and rich a sound - out of the same speakers).
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, any solution? I am running Snow Leopard, which Airfoil supports, and I have insured that the software is up to date. Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

I've just tested this. Played a track in iTunes, sent the music to my HiFi via Airport Express using just iTunes. Played track again in iTunes and used Airfoil to send the music to my HiFi. No difference in the sound quality. I've got good HiFi and I would have noticed any difference in quality.
