hi, please help me~
last month, i purchased the victoria secret giftcard , which amount was $400. i won the bid and paid only for $367. when i received the card, i found seller split amount on 4 different cards, $40, $60,$100, $200. by the way, seller wrote amount on the back of the cards. but the problem is when i tried to use those cards, i found 2 cards, which amount were $ 100, $ 200 , had actually zero amount in it. i freaked out but i dont know how to fix it. i already scratched the pin number on every 4 cards and i dont know how to prove seller had sent me zero amount cards. i dont wanna lose $300 like this and should i report this seller? please help me! thank you~|||Duplicate thread. On your other thread: Did you contact the seller? I'm concerned though because you left positive feedback for the seller on May 21st. Why would you not check the balances prior to leaving feedback? You should file the 'significantly not as described' through paypal if the seller did send you zero balance cards. You only have 45 days from date of payment to do it. Then you need to escalate to a claim.|||thank you for your post. yeah, it was my bad that i didnt checked the balance before i left feedback. i got a big lesson from here. thanks, anyway~|||323, Sorry this happened to you. I'd file a SNAD as well. The seller misrepresented the gift card. The auction stated this was ONE card not four. That's against eBay policy. Read the eBay gift card quote below: "Gift cards can be listed as long as you meet all of the following requirements: The card’s dollar amount is $500 or less. You have the card in hand at the time you list it. You offer only one gift card per listing You have only one gift card listing at a time, even if you have more than one eBay account." Hope this helps! .Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much|||Contact your Seller first, and explain the problem. If she's not cooperative, file the SNAD with PayPal. You have 45 days from date of payment to do this. When you return the cards, make sure to get Delivery Confirmation. The fact that you've left positive feedback should not affect your SNAD claim.|||When you return the cards, make sure to get Delivery Confirmation. Delivery Confirmation won't cut it...she needs Signature Confirmation due to the amount. From beasts we scorn as soulless, In forest, field and den, The cry goes up to witness The soullessness of men. ~M.
